The lounge
A round white bar, shelves of bottles that curve around the room and a black-and-white tiled floor.
Sit at the round bar
The bar is a long white curve with room along the front to sit and talk to whoever is pouring. Behind it, lit wooden shelves hold the bottles, and glassware hangs from racks overhead.
It's the spot for a first drink, for asking what's open by the glass, or for watching a cocktail being made. One guest on Google wrote that Iza "is so nice."

Shelves you can read from the street
The shelves follow the curve of the room and are lit from underneath, so the bottles glow through the glass front at night. Red and white wine, rum, whisky and other spirits share the wall; a cooler holds beer, soft drinks and juices.
Not sure what to order? Point at a bottle and ask. The menu page lists what you'll find, and our guide to Dominican rum explains the local bottles.
Green, cream and terracotta
The colours come from the sign: bottle green and cream, with the terracotta of the columns outside and a little neon green at the door. The floor is laid in black-and-white patterned tiles, and plants soften the corners.
Glass doors lead straight out to the terrace, so you can move between the two.
